Frequently Asked Questions:

What methods of printing do you use?

At present two printing methods are offered:

Pad Printing:  Can use up to four colours.  This is the least expensive method but the print can be scraped off using a sharp knife or similar. The finished item will not be suitable for dish washers.

Decal Transfer Printing: This is labour intensive and is fired in a kiln at 600°C to set the colours.  As many different colours as required can be used.  Due to the translucency of glass, colours cannot be set to Pantone colours. It is not recommended washing the finished item or any glass item in a dish washer, however, the print will last for many hundreds of washes before it begins to noticeably fade.
